Stop chasing attachments: collect files from clients with one link

07 October 2026 · 2 min read

“Could you resend the logo in higher resolution?” “Which order was this for?” If collecting files from clients, applicants or event guests feels like detective work, a file request link fixes the process.

What is a file request?

A file request is a link that lets anyone upload files straight into your account — without creating an account themselves. You decide which folder the files go to and how long the link stays open.

Ask the right questions up front

Most back-and-forth happens because context is missing. With custom questions you can require exactly what you need next to the files:

  • a short answer such as full name or order number,
  • a paragraph for notes,
  • a choice from a list (for example mug, T-shirt, poster),
  • a date, such as the desired delivery date.

You can also make the uploader’s e-mail address mandatory, so you always know who to reply to.

Get notified instantly

When files arrive you receive an e-mail with all answers, and — if you like — a browser, Android or Telegram notification. Developers can connect a webhook and trigger their own workflows.

Typical use cases

  • Print shops and agencies collecting artwork from customers
  • Photographers receiving reference images before a shoot
  • HR teams collecting application documents
  • Event organisers gathering guests’ photos after a wedding or conference

Create your first request link in the dashboard under Request files — it takes less than a minute.
